Happy Birthday!

October 23rd was Thy's 17th birthday. We celebrated by having lunch, cake and opening presents. This was the first time that he had a birthday party - it is not customary for the Khmer to celebrate their birthday's. Apparently, most people consider themselves one year older at the Khmer New Year, and not the day they were born.
